On our initial stop, similar to our previous tours, we began in Kentucky. There, we reunited with David’s parents, Elizabeth and David Sr. Their son, David Jr, suffered from a brain tumor known as DIPG. In past tours, we had the opportunity to spend time with David, but regrettably, he had passed away a few months before this tour. Our encounters with him were always memorable. To this day, David’s parents remain dedicated to raising awareness about DIPG and are fervent advocates. While David was alive, they embraced a motto: ‘Make every day the best day ever,’ a principle they continue to uphold.
